“Little Tiny Starlett”

Friday, February 17th, 2006

Only ten months old and already Kennel wise, this cheeky little character’s first experience of kennel life was a very happy one.

And made lots of new friends, especially Patty the Lurcher, and Sparky the Westie.

Pretty Patty the Lushes’ Lurcher loves looking in the lens of the camera.

Patty`s one of our regulars here at Bonnybank. She is a real delight and we always look forward to having her stay.

First Time Nerves

Monday, February 13th, 2006

Suvi the young, and very lively Finnish Lapphund was dropped off at Bonnybanks. It was her first stay in boarding kennels and her Mum and Dad were a little apprehensive about leaving her – however,

they needn’t have worried; she soon made herself right at home, loves running in the playground and made a special friend with Sparky the little Westie.

Eye! Eye!

Curiosity got the better of Max when I was trying to take his photo. Max being Max first thought the camera was a tasty treat – putting his nose right into the lens. “No Max don’t lick the camera!” CLICK.

Then he thought “maybe it’s a toy?” “No Max, don’t bite the camera!” CLICK. Ah well let’s quit while the camera is still in one piece.

Spring Just Around the Corner?

Thursday, February 9th, 2006

It’s a sunny, crisp winter’s day here in the beautiful Ayrshire countryside. The Snowdrops are popping up all over the gardens of Bonnybanks – it’s a magical sight.

The dogs also seem to be enjoying the sunshine and the peace and tranquillity here at Bonnybanks.

Toys is Me

Tuesday, February 7th, 2006

Sparky the mischievous little Westie likes to travel light when he comes to Bonnybank.

He only brought a small part of his prized toy collection with him and counts them every night to make sure nobody has been in his pen and borrowed one.

The Patter of Little Feet

Monday, February 6th, 2006

Sam, the good looking young Lurcher-cross with a big personality, had an unexpected holiday at Bonnybank when his mum who was with child, had a special delivery – a baby five weeks early!

While Graham and the family prepare for the homecoming of the new arrival, we send our congratulations to them and Grandad Steve

A Fond Farewell

Thursday, February 2nd, 2006

So we bid a fond farewell to Jodie, the little dog has won everyone’s hearts at Bonnybanks – she gives you a real feel-good factor. Her family have decided to put her in a foster home until such time that her mum is better and able to look after her. It’s for the best and we wish her good luck with her new family.

Chrissie and I would also like to take this opportunity to say a Massive! Massive! thank you to Andy for all his time and hard work producing this fab new web site (blog). Without his expertise none of this would be possible. And if you’ve got a spare minute and like photography I can recommend Andy and Amy’s site www.imag1ne.com, for some great wedding images.
