The Young Pretender

Monday, March 27th, 2006

This lovely young German shepherd “Duke” had his first stay at Bonnybank boarding kennels.
Chrissie and I were very impressed with his behaviour, and the time and hard work Stewart and Fiona have put in training him is paying dividends. He is very responsive to commands, and a quick learner typical of the breed.

Bonny

The Border terrier is a regular visitor to Bonnybanks kennels and always makes herself at home.
And as you can see from the photo she’s drop dead gorgeous with plenty of character.

Small in stature but big in personality, a real charmer and we all love him at Bonnybanks.

SPAWNING EKK!

No sooner had the ice had melted on the ponds than we had an invasion of biblical proportions.

Freddie the Frog

Frogs! Hundreds of them now whether they were feeling the cold or just feeling amorous I don’t know but there was, a lot of cuddling going on.

Hectors Home.

Now! Hector the little Cocker Spaniel is a fast mover and loves nothing more than a game of chase in the play-ground, which is great fun, if not a little tiring for us ageing humans.

Snowed Under.

Friday, March 3rd, 2006

But we’re not talking about the weather! Bookings are coming in faster than the snow in the highlands.
The cold weather’s obviously turning peoples minds to warmer climes and e-mails are avalanching and phones are on meltdown. Bookings for Easter time at the kennels are now getting very busy and only a few pens are available, and even the summer months are getting booked quickly. July is nearly a no go area!
So if you know the dates of your holiday we advise you to make a provisional booking.
Keep yourselves wrapped up nice and warm, and enjoy the lovely Ayrshire winter scenes.
