Due to the unseasonable weather that feels more like spring than autumn the wonderful kaleidoscope of colour was late arriving this year but the beautiful Ayrshire countryside has finally delivered. The banks of the river Ayr on the way to Mauchline in particular with its gold’s and reds, are a truly glorious sight.

With a striking russet – gold coat, and graceful movements this pair are lively, intelligent, and most definitely affectionate. Sam and Rudi like nothing more than a good game of chase in the play-ground.However, Rudi prefers unlike most to chase his own shadow and the reflection of his collar a very funny sight for those looking on.

Angus and Murphey two mischievous Schnauzers arrived here at Bonnybanks for their first stay. With their neatly trimmed moustache, beard, and lovely big bushy eyebrows, not one hair out of place. That lasted about five minutes; no sooner had their owners turned out of the drive the fun and games started. All in wrestling a particular favourite, their tomfoolery kept us all amused for hours.
We love these energetic, miniature marvels and hope to see them again soon.
