What an excellent site this is. The photographs are beautiful and all the animals look very happy. Having known Chris & Rob for a very long time, I can only wish them well in their new venture. Any animal going into their care will be loved and cherished .

Thank you very much for looking after my 19yr old cat over Christmas and New Year. Your Tender Loving Care and prompt action taking him to the vet undoubtly saved his life.He is now back to his usual demanding self and even though elderly eating fine, as long as I hand feed him.

Our ” babies ” JJ,the Afghan Hound( 15 months old ) and Denver,the German Shepherd ( 15 months old ) had never been in kennels before this first stay at Bonnybank ….. we certainly chose the BEST place !!!
Rob and Chrissie could not have done more for them … or us, including sending e-mails to us in New York to let us know they had settled in and were doing just fine ( apart from JJ’s “Bad Hair Day “, see great picture on Bonnybank website !!! )
Seriously, if you’re concerned / worried / paranoid about leaving your dogs … THIS is the place to leave them ….
JJ and Denver will CERTAINLY be back soon !!!!

Aaron thanks you for looking after him so well, he obviously made new pals, and we wouldn’t hesitate to leave “our baby” with you again. Hopefully next time you see him he wont be wearing a “designer” t.shirt.

well glad i found the comments page! i left my bull terrier at these wonderful kennels and i can only say good things….accept he looks healthier than me!!!

Well Sam (dog) and Bilbo (cat) are home after their 3rd holiday at your wonderful kennels and have been as well cared for as ever. We’re so glad we discovered you, your obvious love of the animals makes leaving the boys easy! Plus it’s always nice to have a natter with such lovely people as yourselves!

After me being very nervous never having had my two Akitas in Kennels my worries were completly put behind me after meeting Chrissie and Rob, these two know their stuff and made Khan and Thai very much part of their family, we got married knowing there was nothing to worry about, and on return as I’m sure many people will agree, our two didn’t want to leave!! Our dog Harry loves it at Bonnybank and we have no worries when he is there. Can’t wait to hear how you cope with Harry, Sasha, Chico & Shandi in Sept. And we will know if Harry comes back to us or not!!!!

Been meaning to make a comment for ages and it was only when I came to booking my latest holiday that I thought about it again!
Will be calling to book my wee black cat ‘Frisky’ in yet again as I know that she is always well looked after! Poor thing doesn’t want to come home with me after such luxury!

Hi Guys, Blaze here, just wanted to say thanks for a great holiday. It was my first time in a kennel and must say it will not be my last…looking forward to coming back. My mom was worrying needlessly…Chrissie and Rob even made me toast for my brekkie and I made some new friends! And i was all nicely bathed for my mom and dad collecting me. I have now put my little Shih Tzu into your kennels twice and each time he has had a ball.
As you know, I was very concerned about leaving him for the first time, but I needn’t have worried as he had a ball and didn’t seem to miss me at all!!
I would highly recommend you to anyone and can’t thank you enough for looking after Whisky so well. Will be seeing you again soon.

Just want to thank you for once again looking after our GSP Cody. It’s always hard to leave her behind when we go on holiday (hence, why hubby has to take her to kennels), but I have no worries as I know she is well cared for and we can enjoy our break with peace of mind. So, thanks again, Cody will be back next year!

i just wanted to say thanks agin for taking such good care of Angus and Murphey. i was so worried about leaving them but Chrissie and Rob put my mind at ease and Angus didnt even look back when we dropped him off. i know the boys will be back soon. i can finally leave them and go abroad on holiday.

Would just like to say how pleased I am to have booked Rags and Pippa in at bonnybank for the easter break, they are so chilled and relaxed and I felt they were in the best care possible, its a lovely place and chrissie and robert are so nice, if your thinking of kennels this place is the best!

Snooky had a bad start to life but is now happy and loved. She has a heart murmur which requires daily medication and has a special diet as she suffered from bladder stones. Love and lots of attention are very important to her, as are her walks and playtime. I can leave her with Chris and Rob at Bonnybank and know that all her requirements are taken care of, plus some!
I wouldn’t consider taking her anywhere else. Nowhere else would she get such loving care and attention. Thanks Chris and Rob. Snooky loves ya!

Once again Dan had an enjoyable stay at Bonnybank and we had an equally enjoyable stay in Vegas knowing he was safe and getting spoiled! Dan even had “jet-lag” when we got him home.. he was fast asleep on the sofa within an hour! Although we do think that was more down to all the barking and jumping around with his buddies at Bonnybank!
Thanks to Chris and Rob for taking such good care of our mad Springer once again, no doubt we’ll see you same time next year.

It was obvious by the dogs reactions to you that they had been loved and cared for.You took the time to hand feed Cindy and play footie with Star. Thanks again to Chrissie and Rob. We cannot say how glad we are to have found you. We can now go on holiday without worrying about Aaron. He is so well looked after, you really do take those extra special measures to ensure our boy is happy. The kennels are a credit to how hard you both work. I tell anyone doubting leaving their pets to come and see you. Hope you are both well and hope to see you next year.

Hiya Chris & Rob,
Just a few barks from myself Diesel thanking you both very much for looking after me and my two step brother’s Rusty & wee Chico.
As you know Rusty was very nervous but thank’s to Rob’s gentle words and patience it did not take long for him to relax and enjoy his stay.
Wee Chico loved his time with Chris, sitting on her lap lapping up all the attention as she applied his medication for his sore leg.
My mum always said that Chris & Rob take great care in looking after all our needs so she can go on holiday knowing we are in safe hands.
And as for me, I ate them out of house and home as usual. Im soooo full of energy so I always get housed with my own personal roof on my run as I like to jump.
Chris & Rob think of everything to make our stay safe and enjoyable.
They also make sure we leave looking and smelling great, Mum would love to know what you use on us.

Just a quick note to thank you for our great stay. We had so much fun in the playgound playing with all the toys and we loved our long walks. We are glad to see our mum and dad but are going to miss playing with Chris and Rob. We cant wait to come and stay again. Lots of love, hugs and doggie kisses Kayla and Ben xxx

Hi Chrissie & Rob,
Just wanted to drop you a line to say thanks again for looking after Colin whilst we were on holiday. He was a bit subdued for a couple of days after he came home – I think he missed Calley! He’s now back to his mischievous self, chasing squirrels and foxes in the wood near to our house.
It was lovely to see him so happy around you, it just confirmed that we made the right choice in placing him with you. Chrissie mentioned that Colin was a better name than Rod. It didn’t click with me at the time, but Rod would be on his vaccination card – his litter was named after Rainbow characters, and he just didn’t look like a Rod.
Anyway, thanks again for everything, look forward to seeing you again next year.

Hello!!
The dogs settled straight back into home life no problem and Caley has really improved with her confidence – thanks so much for looking after them and spending time with them both to make them feel loved whilst away from home.
We will definitely be booking pads n cals back in again! We will prob be going away later in the yr next yr but will book in as soon as we know dates etc so that we have more chance of getting them in.

Hi Chris & Rob
Just wanted to say a big thank you for taking care of Porscha again. This was her 3rd visit and we wouldn’t think of taking her anywhere else. When Rob came to collect her she couldn’t wait to get going and always enjoys her time at the Kennels. I am sure this is down to all the love and attention that she gets. Porscha as always came back happy and smelling lovely.
It is good that we get to enjoy our holiday knowing that Porscha is being well looked after by you both.

Snookie has returned home after a month long stay. She was looked after like royalty and I wouldn’t leave her anywhere else. She’s now 12 years old and Bonnybank is the only place I can leave her, knowing that all her needs will be lovingly and competently met.
I loved the email contact whilst away – gave me peace of mind.

We left our GSD Kieron – recently rescued – with Chris and Rob in March. He thoroughly enjoyed his first (but not last) holiday, and we enjoyed ours. It was wonderful to be able to leave him, knowing he would be so well cared for. Chris and Rob have such love for and understanding of animals. The kennels are spotless and every need ismet.

Our Lab Storm has been going to Chris and Rob since the August 2005. We love the fact that we can go on holiday and not feel bad about leaving Storm as we know he is having as good a time if not better. He loves going to stay with Chris and Rob so much so we don’t even get a goodbye he just heads straight to Rob.
Best Boarding Kennels in Ayrshire with out a doubt.

Thank you for the card, but it is us who should be thanking you – Toby has obviously had a wonderful time with you all and you have taken such good care of him. We couldn’t have found a better place for him and he was looking longingly out of the car window as we drove down the road, wishing he could come back !
He obviously didn’t miss us at all which is a good sign that he was being well cared for, and thank you for getting his ear drops, he is a high maintenance wee man with his skin and ear problems so we are really grateful that you got him sorted out so quickly.
He is already counting the days on his paws to the 21st October, not sure how we’ll break it to him that it’s only for one night and not for another fortnight (that’ll be next year Toby !)
We have four dogs altogether, and he finds the other three a bit too much sometimes which is why we booked him in with yourselves as we thought it would be better for him, especially after his operation – but he was our first dog and he’s the oldest so he is very special to us (apart from the fact he’s such a wee character)
So thank you once again, and see you in October
